Something is coming for Giesbert...
Giesbert is happy to finally be able to live in his rain barrel again - the summer is wonderful, and together with Munz the cat, he makes the acquaintance of wild bees that have just moved into the insect hotel in the garden.
But that's not all: soon after, chickens take up residence, which really upsets his daily routine. What's more, he can't do anything right for the slightly stubborn ladies at first. But at the latest when he chases away a marten that scares the hell out of the chicken lady Mechtild, they begin to understand that they are dealing with a very special character, whom they soon take to their hearts...
