Note: Suitable for tumble drying! Washable up to 60°C. Do not allow children to iron without adult supervision. It is best to use pure cotton textiles!

A particular advantage of iron-on patches is that they can repair worn or damaged items of clothing and breathe new life into them. Instead of throwing away clothes and buying new ones, you can use iron-on decals to preserve your favourite items and reduce waste at the same time. By applying iron-on decals, you promote more sustainable consumer behaviour and a more conscious appreciation of the things that surround us.

Instructions for using iron-on stickers

1. Preparation of the textile: Wash the desired textile without fabric softener, but with detergent to ensure optimum adhesion.

2. Preparing the surface: Place the textile on a hard surface, such as a baking tray or a ceramic or induction hob. Avoid using an ironing board.

3. Heating the iron: Heat the iron to a maximum of 150 degrees Celsius (just before level 2) to achieve the optimum temperature for applying the iron-on decals.

4. Positioning the iron-on decals: Place the iron-on decal film on the fabric of the textile with the design facing downwards and cover with baking paper.

5. Attaching the iron-on decals: Press the iron evenly and firmly onto the iron-on decal film for 10-12 seconds. Make sure you apply enough pressure.

6. Allow to cool and remove the film: Allow the iron-on decal film to cool completely before carefully peeling it off.

7. Post-processing and finishing: Cover the iron-on decals with baking paper and iron briefly. Remove the paper immediately while it is still hot.

Tips: Wait 24 hours after application before washing the textile for the first time. If the film does not peel off easily after step 5, repeat this step and make sure to apply sufficient pressure to the motif. If a corner of the iron-on image comes off after several washes, repeat step 7 to improve adhesion.
