Material info:

Wool balances temperature and regulates warmth. It is particularly elastic, dirt and water repellent. Skin respiration and fabric exchange are regulated. Wool warms better than most other materials. Wool can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in moisture, yet the garment does not feel wet and warms reliably at the same time.
Airing the garment, ideally outdoors, is sufficient. Due to its dirt-repellent properties, washing too often is unnecessary!
Woolen garments should be washed very carefully by hand in lukewarm water, not wringed or rubbed, otherwise they will become matted.
