The Carillon glockenspiel with 7 plates and a body made of fine cherry wood sounds clear and balanced. The fulland warm bell-like sound makes the Carillon particularly suitable for younger children of pre-school age. It is therefore well suited as a first percussion instrument and can also be combined well with the delicate tone of the children's harp. This is why this glockenspiel is also popular in Waldorf kindergartens. The seven steel plates sound the following notes when struck with the mallet: d"-e"-g"-a"-h"-d'''-e'''.
