The lyre in the curved shape of a dolphin is particularly well suited for first musical experiences. The organic shape and the solid, finely polished wood make the lyre fit well in the hand. Due to the open pentatonic tuning, even younger children can play harmonious notes on the stringed instrument. The surface has been treated with oil and wax.
