Ignition steel
Item number 30007
Ignition steel made of 99.95% pure magnesium.
The chips can be easily scraped off this fire steel blank with a knife and become the ultimate fire starter .
The chips create a 3,000°C flame that can ignite even damp material. In the solid ingot form, however, the magnesium fire steel is as harmless as aluminium. So even in damp weather, with a little skill, a campfire can be lit. No rubbing and consuming of matches or lighters!
The magnesium bar can be threaded onto a leather strap.
