Margarete Ostheimer

Margarete Ostheimer took over the family business in 1965 after the death of her father, Walter Ostheimer. She designed simple wooden play figures based on the anthroposophical world view. Characteristic of Ostheimer figures is the focus and reduction to the essentials. This encourages and supports children's imagination and creativity.
