The cordial wire

Handmade heart made from the miracle material Nitinol.

You can bend, stretch or crumple this piece of wire at will when cold, and yet: if you drop it into a cup of hot water, it will always spring back into its heart shape in a fraction of a second . Nitinol is a so-called shape memory alloy. The heart shape of the wire was burnt into it during production and it will never "forget" this shape again.

Material: consists of approx. 55 % nickel, the rest is titanium
