Grimms Staircase construction kit

Exceptional building set made of oiled alder wood. The individual parts have a very special and unique grain. There are many individual traces of nature to discover in the 19 building elements, such as the different grain and colour of the individual parts, as well as the annual rings or small knotholes.

This unique building set contains more than just staircase building blocks. It is an ideal starter building set with a few large and solid pieces that can be assembled into robust and stable structures reminiscent of castles or medieval towns. Large windows and gateways are easily created, as well as trickier constructions that will challenge bigger builders.

The building blocks made of oiled alder wood can be stored in the wooden box in a practical and easy way. The wooden blocks can also be sorted into the wooden box like a puzzle.

Grimms Play and Wood Design

Grimms is a sustainable wooden toy manufacturer based in Germany. Grimms's wooden toys, such as the large rainbow, provide children with a wide range of true sensory experiences. Through play, they experience the world and make it their own. The gateway to the world is formed by the senses. The more varied and "real" the sensory experiences are, the more varied the child can develop and learn.

In its product development, Grimms is inspired by Waldorf education and other reformed educational approaches, such as Montessori.

The products are always unique with unique traces from nature. With a few exceptions, they are sanded and sawn by hand, which supports the uniqueness of each Grimms wooden toy.

The pure woodworking is outsourced to small independent companies in Europe. Product development and further processing of the wooden toys takes place at the company's headquarters in the Swabian Alb. Finally, the quality is checked, everything is packed and shipped. For some products, Grimms works together with workshops for disabled people in Germany.

All products undergo regular testing and comply with the European standard for toy safety (EN 71) and US standards.

Attention is paid to resource-saving and recyclable packaging, and green energies such as green electricity and solar panels are used at the Hochdorf site.

In addition to protecting the environment, respectful treatment of employees is very important to Grimms. Fair wages and additional social benefits, job security and good working conditions are a matter of course for Grimm.

Warning! CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3yrs.
