Doll Tio is sewn by hand. All materials are harmless and of the highest quality. This pretty little doll is sewn from organic cotton with elastane content and filled with virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry.

The short hair is made of finest mohair wool. The little face, the dolls eyes and mouth are lovingly embroidered by hand and give each doll its individual expression. Tio has blue eyes and blond hair and an indicated nose. The cheeks are slightly reddened with harmless wax paint. The little doll has slightly indicated thumbs on the hands, the feet are discreetly shaped. Tio's arms and legs are movable.

Socks and cap of the rag doll are hand-knitted, trousers and shirt are sewn from 100 % cotton and are of particularly high quality.

All emotions can be imagined in the neutral face. Thanks to the virgin wool filling, it never feels cool and quickly adjusts to the child's body temperature.

For the baby, Waldorf dolls with as few details as possible are suitable. Here we recommend a doll without hair, with a small cap and firmly sewn clothing that cannot be changed.

Older children will be happy if they can also make hairstyles and change clothes.

A doll as a gift

Dolls are experienced by children as a friend, playmate and cuddly friend. If the doll is wrapped in wrapping paper, this can be a little confusing. If the little rag doll comes to the child with a small bag or rucksack and sits waiting under the Christmas tree or near the birthday table, the child can approach it freely. The Waldorf doll can have a small letter with it and tell where it comes from. At first such an approach may seem very elaborate, but often the children remember intensively when they are older how the doll child came to them. It is certainly worth the effort!

The right care

After a while, the doll's face will become dirty. Small stains on the body will also appear sooner or later. A Waldorf doll can be washed in lukewarm water. Make sure that there are no temperature fluctuations. Put the doll in a bowl of lukewarm water, add a little wool detergent. Clean the face with a soft cloth, and if it is very dirty, gently brush out the dirt with a soft toothbrush. Do not rub or rub hard, rather dab and press a little until the stains disappear. After the bath, wrap the doll in a towel and press a little. Then allow the doll to dry at room temperature.
